Ultra-fine aluminium hydroxide flame retardants are widely used in a variety of products to improve flame retardant properties and are an important addition to flame retardant building material wire. Compared with ordinary particle size aluminium hydroxide, the specific surface area of ultrafine aluminium hydroxide is greatly increased and the partial pressure of water vapour on the surface of the particles is reduced, which can improve the flame retardant effect to a certain extent. vAluminium hydroxide is moderately hard, has stable physical and chemical properties at room temperature, is non-toxic and has low production costs. When aluminium hydroxide is heated to around 220°C, it starts to endothermally decompose and release bound water. As this endothermic dehydration process delays the burning of the polymer, the burning rate is very slow. It is on the basis of the large amount of heat absorbed during decomposition and the fact that only water vapour is released during thermal decomposition and no toxic, flammable or corrosive gases that aluminium hydroxide has become an important inorganic flame retardant filler. With a low specific surface area, the resin has a low oil absorption value and low viscosity. The high number of parts added to the resin can reduce the production cost of artificial agate, glass fiber reinforced plastic, potting materials, etc. and improve the flame retardant properties of the products. Uniform crystalline shape, easy to wet, easy escape of air bubbles, easy processing, even distribution of stress, improves the strength of the product.
