China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan has been successfully developing high-end automobile steel in India and the production volumes keep expanding also. At present, India is one of CSC’s targeted markets. China Steel Corporation India (CSCI), an electrical steel mill which CSC Group established in Dahej, Gujarat is under construction, and is estimated to begin producing in 2014. China Steel Global Trading Corporation (CSGT) is also planning to set up a branch in Mumbai in 2014. The steel processing center aims to start operating and supplying products to automotive manufacturers in Pune area starting 2015.
